The new building was created to address the need for a comprehensive, state-of-the-art,
teaching and performance facility that consolidated the departments of music, dance, art and drama under one roof.

The building’s exterior is predominantly brick with locally quarried sandstone trim carved
to provide historically themed accents. Sited at the west end of the campus, the Langroise Center for the Performing and Fine Arts establishes a powerful terminus
and focal point to the main student promenade.
