The 12,600 SF station is
located on a 2.39-acre site
in southwest Boise. The
new two-story facility is residential in character to compliment its immediate surroundings.
The facility is residential in character to compliment its surroundings
ZGA Architects was selected by the City of Boise to design the South Five Mile
Station #14.
The building includes crew sleeping, living, physical training, and dining areas, as
well as drive through apparatus bays and a potential EMS bay. The facility has a 40
seat community meeting hall as well as a hazardous materials drop site for the surrounding community's use.
