Creating a memorable and dignified experience for the visitor

ZGA Architects provided design services to the State Veterans Cemetery for the State of Idaho. The building character is regional in vernacular, non-institutional, architecturally subtle, respectful, and appropriate for the rural foothills setting.

In addition to being low maintenance, the exterior building materials are, to the greatest extent possible, indigenous to the area and locally produced. The forms, details, patterns and colors of the architecture are integrated into the landscape to provide a seamless fit between site and building.
