ZGA is experienced with the restoration, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of historic buildings. Each requires an understanding of what the owner wants to achieve. In one instance an owner may want careful maintenance of an existing structure. The next
client may need a major rehabilitation of a deteriorating landmark.
Each approach requires a special process of developing the scope of work, executing the construction documents, and seeing that a skillful constructor treats the structure with appropriate care. The design of interpretive centers and recreational structures
also requires an enlightened comprehension of public site and resource uses and characteristics.
