The building accommodates
an Emergency Department, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, administrative offices,
Pediatric Surgery Suite, Pediatric Oncology and
Cardiac Care Suites.
Designed around the principles of family-centered care
ZGA was retained to plan and design the East Tower Expansion in association with Anshen + Allen, Medical Planners of San Francisco. Located on the Boise downtown campus, the 6 story, 125,000 square foot building conforms to the Master Plan, which included a site study and analysis to determine maximum building capacity, existing infrastructure capacity, and vehicular access for both patient and emergency vehicles.
