ZGA, in conjunction with ESI, was commissioned to provide architectural planning and design services for Autovol.  The new $45 million, 400,000 square-foot, design-build, manufacturing facility and attached two-story, 22,000 square-foot office building; is located in Nampa, Idaho.  Situated on 52-acres, the building is a concrete slab-on-grade with steel frame and steel bar joists roof framing.  The exterior finish material is primarily pre-finished metal siding

The manufacturing portion of the building is 387,667 gross square feet with a volume of approximately 15,506,700 cubic feet, while the 2-story office portion of the building has a footprint of 19,770 gross square feet. The building’s primary function is to house a highly robotic, automated, modular housing manufacturing facility and accompanying offices.  As a whole, the facility houses Autovol’s complete business functions, product design activities and manufacturing processes; it is the first of its kind in Idaho.
